Image Stacking

DSS is the most important part of my software setup and a great free alternative to paid stacking solutions.

SIRIL

Deep sky processing suite.

Siril is a powerful and free alternative to the renowned Pixinsight. It offers image stacking, calibration, enhancement, and even scientific capabilities.

ASTROFLAT PRO AND ASTRONOMY TOOLS FOR PHOTOSHOP

As I've transitioned to Siril, I no longer use these but wanted to include them as they may still be useful to those with a primarily Adobe workflow.

AstroFlat Pro: A powerful, fast luminance flattening plug-in, separates subjects from light pollution and eliminates the sky glow gradients and hot spots in your astroimages.

Astronomy Tools: Powerful, easy to use, big set of actions for Adobe Photoshop® (full version) specifically designed for use by astrophotographers in all parts of image processing. Beginners to advanced amateurs and pros, polish up your astrophotos for a beautiful, natural-looking presentation.

Cloud Cover and Seeing Condition Forecasting

I've found Astrospheric to be the most accurate out of the apps I've tried as far as cloud cover goes, seeing conditions are more hit or miss but it's a nice inclusion. There are app and web versions.
